About the Director

The Director of Curriculum & Technology Integration, Michael RobbGrieco, leads and coordinates Windham Southwest SU efforts to ensure that what and how we teach meets the needs of 21st century learners to support our students' growth as innovative and productive citizens in an interconnected world.

Duties include:
  • Consolidated Federal Grant (Title 1 and Title 2a; program proposal & management) 
  • Professional Learning (supervision, development, implementation, coordination)
  • Comprehensive Assessment System (development, coordination; beginning stages 2015-2017)
  • Curriculum Alignment to State Standards (supervision; beginning stages at SU-wide level 2015-2017)
  • SU-wide Initiatives for Teaching and Learning (supervision, professional learning opportunities)
    • Personalized Proficiency Based Learning
    • Multi-tiered Systems of Support
    • Technology Integration

Michael RobbGrieco holds a Ph.D. in Media & Communication from Temple University, a Masters in Teaching from the University of New Hampshire, and a Bachelors in English Literature from Bucknell
University. Before returning to south central Vermont in 2011 and joining WSWSU in 2015, Mike worked for a decade with the Media Education Lab in Philadelphia as a researcher, teacher educator and media artist, focusing his work on the professional development of teachers implementing media literacy in K-12 public schools. Mike came to educational leadership after years as a high school English and ESOL teacher in New Hampshire. Mike enjoys making and producing music, video and multimedia projects for work, art and fun. Fly fishing and being a Dad are his passions.
